Nearest & Dearest....

So, here's some of the latest from my trip to California. This is my niece. Isn't she just a doll? I know. I'm biased, but what aunt wouldn't be? My nephew managed to sneak in here too. We went to a train station in Orange county and got some great variety of shots. My niece is so cute. You tell her "no smile" and she frowns! What a love! She has the most beautiful eyes. She's in that tween stage where everything is "in" between. Gangly, but gorgeous....Simple, but spectacular. She's growing up too fast....

Mac-A-Licious!

So today after work, I head over to the computer store and pick up my brand new I-Mac!!! I'm typing on it right now and boy, is it a beauty! 24" screen, high res and so easy. I'm switching over from a PC and I have to say, an hour on this thing and I am hooked. It's going to make my workflow so much easier and more effficient. To those of you waiting for a proofing session: it won't be much longer now! I thank you for your patience with all my latest technology drama. Oooooh! This thing is so much fun.

Can you Tell Them Apart?

I have been laughing all morning as I proof these photos! These two 4-year old girls...are identical twins and I CAN'T for the life of me...tell them apart! It's killing me! LOL. And boy, they certainly weren't going to help me out either. "B" says, "I'm 'B' and that's 'B!' And then other goes "Yeah...I'm 'B' and she's 'B!'" Can we say my brain is discombobulated? Is that a word? LOL.
I have so many wonderful pics of these two I can hardly wait to proof them all. I'll post more later. Thanks for such a fun day, you two.

Oh, To Be On The Couch!

Look at this QT!!! Oh my gosh, I can't stand how adorable this little girl and her mom are. At 10 months old "J" is crawling all over the place, wiggling her tush and playing with mom. I LOVE this photograph, especially converted into Sepia tones like this.

This is the original image in color. Aren't the two of them just gorgeous? I can't decide which version I like best. Color or not to color? Argh! Decisions, decisions.

"L" is such a beautiful mother and the love she has for little "J" would melt any heart. "J" of course oogled over the fact that when the photographer is in her home she can play on ANY of the furniture, including the prized living room couch! ((giggle)) So Sweet...

Oh....here's one more. How can I resist those eyes?

Nothing Like Being Sisters...

Every time I go to the rink, "A" has been asking me when she'll get to see her pictures on the blog. So here ya go, sweety! This session was so much fun! "A" just loves her faux leopard coat and wears it everywhere. And the other "A" sister? What a beauty! Watch out mom, she's turning into a looker. We spent the morning at the park, goofing off on the slide. The girls loved just being themselves and letting me capture their special sisterly love. Having a sister myself, I know that bond runs deep and is unbreakable. Cherish it, girls!

Techno Saga!

So the day after I get home from California, my computer decides enough is enough. My main C:/ drive fails, corrupts, dies, disintegrates. You can imagine my panic? The good news is all my proof and original digital files are backed-up to the nines. However, I did lose all my software, all my calender items, favorites la-di-da-di-da! Well, after three visits to CompUSA, I am back up and running with a new hard drive! Yeah, but I am also backed up with proofing. Please, not to worry, I will get to all my orders in as quickly as possible and make up for lost time! I thank you call for being so understanding! Oh, the digital age we live in! Isn't it supposed to make things easier? LOL.
